We are a small family-oriented Christ-centered church with a giving heart (see "About Us").  We offer meaningful worship every Sunday with Holy Communion--which includes a children's message. As an active congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we are a warm and welcoming congregation offering ministry to all ages, young and old alike.

As a congregation established in 1795, we have been blessed by the fullness of God’s love. However, there is still more work to do in serving God and our neighbors! So we continue to search for new ways to work together and discover what it means to be a Christian in the world today.

Please come visit us in the historic village of Churchtown and make a difference in our community. Feel free to browse around our website and find out what are all about at Mt. Zion!

On June 2, we will change our worship time to 9 am and move our worship services to Fellowship Hall for the Summer (June-August). For our air conditioned Summer worship: we offer breakfast every Sunday (to eat before, during, and after the service); have "fun buckets" for the kids; have a shorter more informal style of worship: and the entire service is PowerPointed. Come join us!

On May 16 and 17 in 2020, Mt. Zion will be celebrating its 225th anniversary! Details to follow!
